Csongor brings two decades of experience in the travel industry to his role at STR CEE. He began his career in tourism in 2006 as a Finance Officer while completing his university studies in Romania. In 2008, he relocated to Hungary to pursue new opportunities, spending nearly a decade in senior roles—including Regional Manager and Business Development & Operations Manager—with two leading online travel agencies.
Csongor joined STR CEE in 2017 and has since led sales and market strategy for the Hungarian market, developing extensive knowledge of the CEE travel landscape and strong relationships across the region. His adaptability and regional expertise were further demonstrated during and following the pandemic, when he also took responsibility for sales in the Czech and Slovak markets for more than two years.
In 2026, building on his extensive experience across Central and Eastern Europe, Csongor is expanding his responsibilities to lead business development and sales in Bulgaria, alongside his continued leadership of the Hungarian market.
He is fluent in Hungarian, Romanian, and English.
